Real Steel Returns to UK Panorama Stage With Performance of Cocoa Tea by Kes.
The legendary Real Steel are officially back and ready to make history once again as they announce their participation in the 2025 UK Panorama Championship. With high energy and unstoppable momentum, the band will be serving their tune of choice, Cocoa Tea by Kes, arranged by the masterful Leroy Clarke.
Real Steel created steel pan history with an iconic hattrick of victories from 2012 to 2014, a feat that set the standard for excellence in the UK Panorama competition, being the only band based outside of London to have ever done this. After securing third place in the 2024 championship, the band are ready to reclaim their crown and reign as Panorama champions once more.
This year, Real Steel promises to share their sweetest blend of music to date. With bands from across the country set to join the competitive line up, Real Steel is forecasting its largest assembly of players since their competitive hiatus! The revival is more than a return, it’s a statement with both new and returning players from Rainbow Steel Band, Contrast Steel Band, Calypsonic and Pantonic All Stars. From hours of rigorous rehearsals across the country and difficult circumstances to practice, the band’s dedication is heating up.
